What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine)
I gave Shark the ability to hold a pen, Dragonfly and Canary the ability to do magic effects, Aoko and Kira acrobatics, and Allen the ability to mimic anyone's voice without a voice changer.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular?
Most of 'em I shared because I thought the people in question would enjoy 'em. Shark got the pen-holding ability because he still can't write and I felt sorry for the guy. I gave Canary my magic because she was asking about it a while ago, and I figured it'd help her understand.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine)
Shark gave me his blanket burrito ability, Dragonfly gave me the ability to sparkle, Canary gave me the ability to sew stuff, Aoko gave me her staff skills, Kira gave me her conjuring skills, and Allen was kind enough to share his superior poker skills~
Why do you think you received these skills in particular?
Dragonfly probably gave me sparkling because he thought it was funny. The blanket burrito was comfortable, so Shark probably gave me it for that reason. I dunno why Aoko gave me her mop skills, though I bet it was just in response to me sharing my acrobatics with her. Kira gave me conjuring because I'm a magician and magicians are always conjuring things. Canary gave me sewing. . . er. I dunno, probably because I'm not very good at sewing things unless I'm patching up a hole or something. And Allen gave me his superior poker skills because it's about time I was capable of beating him in cards. Not that we actually played cards during the entire game, unfortunately.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why?
Allen's poker skills, hands down. Not that I'm bad at poker myself, but he's a monster I tell you.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be?
Sparkling, probably. I had bad experiences with sparkles in a heart game a while ago, and while it was nice to be able to do it voluntarily for a change, it's not a skill I have any real pressing need for.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way?
I learned that Sapphire is competitive when it comes to cards. Heh, what am I talking about, I already knew they were competitive. I can't believe Allen shared his poker skills with them, too. . . I didn't get to properly beat them while I had the skill myself.
I shared fighting skills with Dragonfly, and . . . I'm not sure what you would call it, with Mouse. Assertiveness isn't quite right. It's just a certain way with people when they need some steering in the right direction.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular?
They were interested in them, and there's not much I have to share that would be safe for people. I'm not sure what would have happened if I'd tried to share certain other things, and I don't want to find out.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine)
I learned sewing from Dragonfly, and--I don't know the word for this one, either. From Mouse. It wasn't very pleasant, though. It made it more difficult to say what I was feeling, and I was more easily irritated.
Why do you think you received these skills in particular?
I wanted something helpful from Dragonfly, but I'm not sure about the other one.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why?
Definitely the sewing. I don't have many useful domestic skills like that, and I feel a little guilty about it sometimes.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be?
The--other one. It did make it harder to talk to people sometimes.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way?
I definitely understand a little bit more about Mouse . . . and he's not the only person like that I've ever met, either. I think some people just have a more difficult time being honest about their feelings. I've felt that way, too, but not in the same way.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? Mostly because they wanted them or it seemed interesting. I thought Mouse might like to be able to appreciate his friends without getting so embarrassed all the time, especially. The most useless skill I ever earned was the most popular to share, for some reason. Probably because people thought it was funny...
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) Off team: -Hand-to-hand combat (Ruka) -Inventory (Flynn) -Eidetic memory (Shion)
Team: -How to hold a pen and write (Kit) -Tsundere (Mouse) -SPARKLES (Dragonfly) -Singing (Nightingale) -Sewing (Canary)
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? Ah, well, fighting because I've always wanted to try and Snow-san has tried to teach me before... Inventory because I think it's really cool, and Flynn-san was nice enough to give it... Dandelion's memory skill is really useful, and I've had a lot I wanted to write down so Kit's skill was the one I wanted most. Singing, sewing and sparkling are all... Um, very Coral, so it seemed right to take them.
And Mouse gave me tsundere because he's a jerk.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? Ah... Well I'll eventually get how to write and hold a pen back on my own, so I'd keep inventory. That's really handy.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? Eh.... Maybe blanket burrito-ing.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? Um... Mouse is really, really truly for sure a tsundere.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine) Tavros: being a cat; having cat ears & potentially cat-like behaviors Naha: ditto Ryner: ditto Whiskey: sneakiness
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? I thought it would be interesting, to see a bit of what it's like to be a cat. As for Whiskey…perhaps I was curious what he'd do with it.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) Tavros: communing with animals Naha: shapeshifting Ryner: a lightning spell Whiskey: terrible drawing skills
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? They're both skills that are part of who they are, aren't they? I wanted to experience a bit of that, those things that are a part of them. As for Whiskey…well, I had to pick something, and that seemed like the most interesting.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? I enjoyed using Shade's shapeshifting, but I don't think I'd use it very often if I had it ever day. Blaze's skill would be useful for hunting, though, especially if I learned to use a weapon…
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? I like them all too much to give away, I think.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? Alice is a cruel person!
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine)
I shared out flirting with Shes on Kunzite, Erika, Ivory; cooking with miss Lambdadelta on Kunzite; and my unwelcome personal houseguest with Mogget.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular?
Oh come now, Auriga; you’ve met me. Since when was I above giving someone something just because I thought it was funny? That would cover flirting, by the by.
Miss Lambda was specifically looking for cooking, and I quite like her and Kunzite, so I offered. As for the last on the list . . . well, I suppose I’ve kept up the habit of sharing with a cat what I wouldn’t with a king. Call it eccentric if you like.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine)
Being a cat from Mogget, being a bird from Sakuya, blue truth from Erika, flying from Lambda, thievery from Shes.
Why do you think you received these skills in particular?
Expansion of perception. Alternatively, ‘because why not.’
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why?
Being a bird, I suppose. Now that’s one way to get away from things.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be?
Perhaps Erika won’t like this answer, but I would do away with blue truth. Perhaps it’s a valuable tool in her world, but in mine colouring your words in such absolutes could get you a knife in the eye eventually.
On the other hand, she does like murders . . . ♥
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way?
I discovered a great well of amusement, previously untapped. Thank you.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine) Blue truth with Sakuya, Eve and Mogget
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? It was one I didn't mind sharing with them, since they might at least use it interestingly. And they were most interested in a skill they couldn't acquire naturally, I imagine.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) Trap knowledge from Sakuya Flirting from Eve Sleeping through things from Mogget
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? I found traps to be the most interesting and useful of Sakuya's skills. Eve thought it would be entertaining to give me flirting, I imagine, and I thought it would be a simple skill to flaunt. And since I wasn't interested in being a cat, Mogget didn't have much else to offer, but I thought I could make at least some use of this one. I wasn't particularly interested in anything else.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? I'm satisfied with my own abilities. If I'm interested in any new skills, they're easy enough to learn.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? I've won back one "skill" of my own that isn't particularly essential... changing clothes in one dramatic motion. If you mean of those I received in this game, then Mogget's. I'd rather be awake to observe anything that might happen.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? "Friends" is certainly not the right word, but I did learn quite a lot about other people. Particularly about Yuri, Sakuya, and Lady Lambdadelta's teammates.☆ I wonder which of it you're most interested in?
I shared my skill with the piano with Mogget and Lambdadelta, trap-setting with Erika, and being a bird with Eve, Star, and Chroma.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular?
I would willingly share piano with anyone who was interested. Playing is a richly rewarding experience, one which more people ought to enjoy! As for being a bird, they were curious, and since I've experienced a human shape, why not let them experience a shape like my own? . . . Though I don't approve of the way Chroma abused it! And as for Erika--I'm unsurprised she chose that one to take interest in, but I saw no reason not to.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom?
Blue truth from Erika, red truth from Lambdadelta, flirting from Eve, and cartography from Mogget.
Why do you think you received these skills in particular?
I requested the blue and red truth out of interest for how they work. The rules of those witches' games fascinate me, and I hoped to better understand them. Cartography was practical, and flirting, I am guessing, amused Eve to share.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why?
I suppose the cartography, which would be extraordinarily useful for record-keeping purposes in Aather--especially since I can have a bird's-eye view of the layout of this realm.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be?
The red truth; it could be too easily turned against me. Even less binding contracts to tell the truth are easily abused! If I were simply able to prove at any opportunity that what I was stating was the pure, objective, eternal truth, then I would soon be obligated to do so, and therefore could never speak anything else. I fail to see how that could end positively.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way?
Perhaps Eve is so flirtatious because it's quite an easy way to hold yourself at some distance from a conversation. In adding an ambiguous veil over one's words . . . hnn. That may explain something about somebirdie else I am acquainted with as well.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine)
I gave Estelle and Chocolate my knowledge of old books and movies, Ritsuka my inventory, and Fire all the random little things I know how to do.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular?
It was what they wanted. Pretty simple.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine)
Estelle gave me her swordfighting, Fire gave me setting things on fire by touching them, Chocolate her athleticism, and Ritsuka his calligraphy.
Why do you think you received these skills in particular?
I know Estelle knows I was combat-capable back home, and that it bothered me how long it took me to get back anything of the sort here, so she shared her fighting skills with me. Fire knows I like fire. I think Chocolate had only one skill that she could share, though it's an awesome one. Didn't actually know Ritsuka knew calligraphy, but I must've mentioned how much I like books so.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why?
The swordfighting, definitely. Not something I can learn easily or will get back anything remotely similar to.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be?
Of my own skills or the ones that were shared with me? And does this count losing something that I could re-learn, like mixing drinks? I don't know, the question's pretty vague. Maybe the boring part of my military training, I don't ever need to know how to stand at attention again.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way?
That my friends are awesome and gave me awesome stuff. I would've played around with all this more if I'd been having a better week, I suppose. Whacking things with a stick is remarkably therapeutic though.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine) Super speed - Shiny.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? My super speed is an awesome power. I think everyone should be able to experience having it, even if it's just for a couple days. Also, it's the only skill I've gotten back so far. I would've given more skills away if I had them back.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) Minor transmutation - Shiny.
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? I'm not really sure, because Shiny apparently hates change, but I guess he wanted me to see what it was like to use it.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? Shiny's transmutation skill is really cool, but I would want to keep my super speed. It's part of who I am and I feel weird without it.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? I wouldn't want to lose any skill forever. I mean, I only have one back so far, so then I'd be totally skill-less, and that would suck.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? I learned that Shiny really hates change, but he cares a lot about Carnelian and wants us to do well in games. So he gave me his skill even though he would have preferred to keep it, and he took mine, even though he didn't want it. He puts Carnelian ahead of himself sometimes, and that's cool of him. As for myself, I learned that even though my super speed is part of who I am, I'm still a cool person without it, I guess.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine)
I didn't share many. . . but I gave Kitsunebi and Leif the ability to read and write.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular?
Well, I tried to pick skills I thought would be useful for my team. Erm, you see, I don't have many skills back yet at all, so you have to understand I was choosing from a very limited pool. . . but, I think I managed to reach my goal. I gave Kitsunebi and Leif the ability to read and write because I know they can't, and it must be very frustrating when a game requires someone to be literate to participate. I hope they enjoyed the skill while they had it.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine)
Leif, erm. . . well. He gave me the ability to eat a lot in return, while Kitsunebi gave me the ability to be a wolf.
Why do you think you received these skills in particular?
Well, I suppose Kitsunebi wanted me to see what it was like to be a wolf. As for Leif. . . erm. To be honest I have no idea why he gave me that skill. Maybe he thought it was funny? Or maybe he wanted me to see what it was like to be hungry all of the time. . . or maybe he was pressed for skills to share and chose one at random. I wouldn't put that past him. It was an interesting combination! Erm, I don't know if I'd describe it as a good combination, though. . .
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why?
Out of the ones given to me. . .? I'd choose Kitsunebi's, erm. N-not because I want to kill rabbits, I do think I can do without that! But seeing and smelling the world from the viewpoing of a wolf was a very eye-opening experience.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be?
W-why, I don't think I would choose a skill to lose forever. I have so few! I think I might need them all in order to be a productive member of my team. . .
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way?
. . . well! I think I mostly discovered things about my teammates. I enjoyed being able to see things from Kitsunbei's viewpoint for a change, which helped me understand his logic a bit more. T-though I have to admit, I feel awful for that poor rabbit. And I think I might understand why Leif is so cranky all of time. . . I would be cranky too if I were constantly hungry. To be frank, I'm not completely sure if that's why he's cranky all the time, though. . .
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine) I gave Kitsunebi drawing, (normal) empathy for Thorfinn, blacksmithing for Crown. Dirk and Sion wanted leatherworking.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? I just suggested what I could do and let people pick from there for the most part. Except for Thorfinn. I suggested empathy for him. He doesn't get people well, so I thought he'd might finally get some of the stuff I talk about if he actually got some of my perspective.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) I got the ability to turn into a wolf from Kitsunebi. I got straight forward thinking from Thorfinn. I got ninja skills from Crown. Dirk gave me his technical knowledge and Sion gave me his touch empathy.
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? Kitsunebi was giving out wolf to a lot of people and it sounded like the most fun. Thorfinn was just kind of throwing things out, I think. I got the ninja skills from Crown because we thought it might help me get farther in my training to know what it was like to be good. I've always had an interest in technology, so that's why I got that knowle3dge from Dirk. I asked Sion for the empathy touch because I was actually curious what having that was like. Just so I could understand him a bit more.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? It's a toss up between the straight forward thinking and the technical knowledge. The straight forward thinking could probably help a lot of my problems, but...that's me trying to change who I am too dramatically.
I can't learn the technical knowledge back home, only in Aather. But being able to retain that knowledge, I could do a lot then. I could make better machines and just make things better in general for my home with that knowledge, so it's unfortunate to see it go.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? The wolf thing. As much as I enjoyed being a wolf and loved the experience, I'm still a human. I don't want to change my species, so it's better as just a special occasion sort of thing.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? I wonder a bit. If Sion feels lonely, having to watch when he's touching someone.
The same for Kitsunebi. While it was fun for a short time, he's still the only wolf around that's not a Persona. To be the only one and have an awkward body compared to everyone else. It feels almost harder to connect. Even if there's some advantages, to be the only one seems sad.
It's really, really nice to just say what I want to say without being all obsessive and thinking in circles, but it also makes me a bit...tactless, I suppose? It makes me think I really should work on improving that part of me on my own instead of trying for some magic fix.
...
I also have an intimate understanding of what scratching behind the ears does to wolves and I think it has a similar affect to a lot of animals I give that treatment too, so that's new.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine) Mirage - cooking Nick - Inappropriate flirting Beatrice - fronting Ritsuka - motherhenning
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? Mirage likes cooking -- it reminds him of a sense of family -- but so far he can only cook eggs, so of the few skills I had I thought he'd like it best. Beatrice seems to sometimes falter on covering up some things, so I thought she'd like this. Ritsuka ... he likes to take care of his people, but his confidence is low, so I thought this might help support that. Ah, and for Nick, I thought it would be funny.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) - art skills from Mirage, - telephone-telepathy from Nick, - Invisibility/intagibility from Beatrice - Brutal Honesty from Ritsuka
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? Mirage knows I'm an artist but do not have my art skills back yet, so I think he let me get a taste of them. Nick and I discussed, and I thought I'd have fun with that -- same with Beatrice. Ah, for our own team, I think we were focused on what would give us enjoyment, largely. And Ritsuka... well... I assume he is frustrated by my inability to speak clearly or honestly most of the time.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? Telepathy. Then I could talk to Ritsuka whenever I wanted, even when we're in different cabins. ♥
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? Brutal honesty. I don't want it.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? For some reason, my team is dubious when I draw on the walls with tea. I assure you it's a perfectly valid medium, however.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine) Viridian - drawing Cat - drawing Lloyd - terrible aim
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? Uhhhh... Well honestly I don't have many skills so I needed to give people something. Also, Lloyd got that one skill because he dared to make fun of me! Taste vengeance!
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) Viridian - cold resistance Cat - being sneaky Lloyd - knitting
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? These were all actually useful skills, so they were nice to have... Obviously cold resistance is because it's so goddamn cold here. The others are just kind of... nice!
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? Honestly I think I've gotta go with cold resistance. I mean. It's cold!!
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? ...It was the most fun to use for a game, but I don't have a reason to be sneaky usually. I'd rather be direct! And the knitting seems more useful so...
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? Serah gets surprisingly flustered if you sneak up to hit her with snow. Actually, everyone I tried got surprisingly flustered! So I've learned something about people in general!
What skills did you share, and with whom? SCIENCE!! - With Echo (turq) and Yuki (Sapphire)
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? Because I don't have anything else that's useful whatsoever.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) Iron Kamen Rider fanboying - Yuki (Sapphire) Notetaking!!!! - Echo (Turquoise)
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? Yuki probably wanted to show me just how cool Naoto really is especially since he doesn't look like an action star at all! He appears to be more of the romance type of guy! But I guess you can't really judge people by their looks after all...
Dunno about Hail because she's kind of strange sometimes. Maybe it's out of kindness? Maybe so I can be more organized? Or maybe because she thought I couldn't handle anything else. Who knows.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? I think I wouldn't mind keeping the Iron Kamen Rider stuff. I mean I'm pretty forgetful, but I couldn't forget a single detail of that show for some reason.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? I guess the notetaking one. I mean Hail already takes all of the important notes anyway. I'm pretty sure if she ever took a look at my notes, she'd give me that judging stare of hers.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? Uh...well, I guess I learned that Naoto is pretty amazing. Like um...I can't talk about a lot of it, but he's gone through a lot of hard stuff and he still managed to be a successful actor in his world. And in Aather, whenever dangerous stuff happens, he tries to get us out of it as quickly as he can.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine) Modern world knowledge/pop culture - Apple - Bubbles
Telepathy - Sion
Iron Kamen Rider fanboying - Toki - Berry
Modern pop music - Selenia
Teleportation - Night - Red
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? Uhhh modern knowledge is because I'm sick of explaining modern things, and it seemed like something they would like? Apple wants to do a bunch of movie marathons now, it'll be GREAT. Selenia likes music so I gave him more music... and Night and Red would like teleporting. Who WOULDN'T like teleporting. Uhhh Toki is Naoto's teammate and I've shown Berry some kamen rider stuff before, so now they can have ALL of it. Naoto is a great actor and his show is seriously awesome! More people need to see it all!! Uh... Sion got telepathy— I trust him with it? He'll understand...
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) Organ Playing from Selenia Art from Berry Poker cardshark from Red Empathy from Sion BLOND from Bubbles Science!! from Toki Snake summons from Night Plant knowledge from Apple
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? Uhhhhh because they're fun? Or because they didn't have much else to share... Night gave me snake summons because I wanted it. Apple gave me plant knowledge because I'm studying plants... Bubbles gave her skill on accident.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? I can learn almost all of them... empathy? I already have telepathy, but feeling what my friends are feeling is nice. OR. OR THE SNAKE SUMMONS.
THOSE WERE BADASS. If I can't learn snake summoning I want snake summoning.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? Texting.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? I learned a secret from Bubbles.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine)
Team: 1. Rook - hair styling 2. Obsidian - playing the piano 3. Teresa - playing the piano 4. 5. Off-Team: 1. Selenia - A-T basics 2. Bart - A-T advanced 3.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular?
Selenia and Bart got various levels of A-T in hopes that the experience with them will help them continue to learn on their own after the game. Obsidian got piano skills because it is a skill he is able to use here but not at home due to his size, and it is a delightful skill to have. Teresa got the same skill because she has never played a piano before. If she enjoys it, I would be happy to teach her after the game. Rook got hair dressing, because it's an enjoyable skill, and I'm hoping to get him to trim my hair some.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine)
Why do you think you received these skills in particular?
Obsidian shared dragon because DRAGON!!!!! Also, I'm sure he enjoys the opportunity to not be quite so isolated... and curling up with a bunch of dragons is an amazing way to sleep. Rook's hobo... mostly I thought it would be fun. Teresa is new so she did not have much to offer in way of skills, but I appreciate her doing her best to find something to exchange. Selenia's shield singing is an interesting way of defense, and I'm glad to learn how it works. It's also a way to share our love of music and a way to give me added protection here. Bart provided me with a whip skill in a mostly equal exchange for the A-T skills. I want to learn to use the whips as much as possible for better knowledge of how to spar against him.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why?
DRAGON! So long as it's donnable as it is in the game, it is a lovely skill. I would have liked to be a little larger than I am, but I do very much enjoy being able to fly... and getting pet is a fabulous thing.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be?
Ah... of the ones I have gotten back, I would say ordering take out is the only one I could willingly do without. If it's skills from others, I would do without being blond. It is definitely not a good color for me.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? I learned I make a pretty good dragon.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine) - Cat: Lightning magic - Roxas: Strategy - Solstice: levitation magic - Yuki: Snake summons - Angie: healing magic - Haruki: barrier magic - Jill: speed magic
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? Ahh, most of my skills are magic so I wanted to share some basic stuff with people who can't usually do it. Icicle's really into snakes and even has two as pets so I figured he'd enjoy the summons. Pepper's a nurse so healing magic is right up her alley, although I'm glad she didn't get the chance to use it. Cat just wanted try something and I know Izuchi's always flashy. Same with most of my teammates. I tried to offer things they'd be able to enjoy pretty easily. Roxas already has his own magic so I thought he could use some strategy to complement it.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) - Cat: being a cat - Roxas: flying - Solstice: understanding modern references - Yuki: teleportation - Angie: work ethic - Haruki: origami - Jill: disguises
Why do you think you received these skills in particular?
I wanted to turn into a cat because they can sleep anywhere. It worked out perfectly with Roxas' flying since a cat takes up less energy to move about. Flying is also great because I usually can only float with my spells. I really appreciated getting a chance to understand things from Sol's perspective because I never have any idea what half the people are talking about here and they're always explaining. Icicle's skill just made moving around super easy. I think Pepper gave me the work thing because she thinks I'm lazy. It ended up useful during Sakuya's meeting though and I think I gave some decent suggestions. And unfortunately, volunteered for things... I also think Haruki gave me origami because he knows I like to focus my mind sometimes. Jill gave me disguises because she likes to tease me.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why?
Probably turning into a cat because it amused people and it makes it easier to hide and nap.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be?
Ahh, I'd sure like to ditch my Alpha Stigma since it's dangerous to everyone around me.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? I discovered that Ventus loves being a baby dragon and that Haruki can be ridiculously cute. I also discovered that being petted is pretty nice and it's nice to be able to enjoy that kind of affection easily. I guess having a strong work ethic has its time and place too. Maybe. I also discovered sometimes people want these skills to understand where others are coming from. And I learned you enjoy fluffy animals.
What skills did you share, and with whom? Flight with Snow, Kira, and Eve, red truth with Sakuya and Vincent, and imitating voices with Shes.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? Because they're what people asked for, duh! We all came to an agreement on what to trade, and I didn't feel the need to snub anyone.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? Let's see... I got teleportation from Snow, offensive magic from Kira, cooking from Eve, piano from Sakuya, knowledge of poisons from Vincent, and thievery from Shes.
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? Again, 'cause they're what I asked for! I thought teleportation could be handy, and I miss being able to move around so freely. Similarly, I wanted to be able to use magic again... though it really doesn't feel right unless it's my own, after all. I asked for cooking to get a certain quest done, and piano because we might as well Kunzite's piano to some use. And poison and thievery just seemed like they could be fun☆
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? All of them I can either learn on my own or gain back for myself eventually... So there's no need to choose, is there?
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? Piano, I suppose. It was nice to be able to play, but I don't have a ton of use for it.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? Not especially.
What skills did you share, and with whom? Cooking for Flynn, Ravager for Tiger, Saboteur for Noel, and world knowledge for Lloyd.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? Flynn wanted to learn more about how to cook, and Tiger has always been really interested in my magic. Saboteur was a skill that I was always better at, so I was letting Phoenix see what something he never had was like. Lloyd wanted to know more about a futuristic world, and I've seen a lot of my world when it was already pretty advanced.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? One-handed sword from Flynn, cooking omurice from Tiger, balance from Noel, and two-handed sword from Lloyd.
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? Well, I wanted to learn more about how to use a sword, so I was cheating a bit by borrowing these skills. I like cooking, so that's what Tiger was thinking, I bet. And Phoenix didn't have a whole lot to share, but he was always good on his feet.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? It would probably be Tiger's omurice or Phoenix's balance. They aren't very big, but I'd rather learn on my own with some help than just taking someone's skill with a sword. Learning is a process, and I like it too much to go around it that much.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? Of my own, you mean? Hmm, I can't really pick one, sorry. They're all pretty important to me.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? I found out more about how I would and should use a sword. While the style Flynn and Lloyd use doesn't suit me perfectly, I really learned a lot from the two of them.
Dude. DUDE. Wanting to read is the wierdest thing. I don't even want to fill out this form because I just want be stuck under a giant pile of books. Gods, it's a good thing the library has books in Greek or I would have the world's biggest headache right now, you have no idea.
[ the turn-in switches into ancient Greek right here, all crossed out ]
I wonder if I can bottle some of this up and take it home, get real book-liking just before I have to do a book report. Is that cheating?
[ and back to English and not crossed out ]
Oh sorry. I don't even know why I'm writing this when I don't get memories anyway.
CORAL
Re: CORAL

Re: CORAL

-Math, Snow
-Blanket burrito, Shion
-Cooking, Flynn
Team:
-Technology, Canary
-Appreciation for friends (ooc: YANDERE), Mouse,
-Blanket burrito, Kit
-Blanket burrito, Dragonfly
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular?
Mostly because they wanted them or it seemed interesting. I thought Mouse might like to be able to appreciate his friends without getting so embarrassed all the time, especially. The most useless skill I ever earned was the most popular to share, for some reason. Probably because people thought it was funny...
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine)
Off team:
-Hand-to-hand combat (Ruka)
-Inventory (Flynn)
-Eidetic memory (Shion)
Team:
-How to hold a pen and write (Kit)
-Tsundere (Mouse)
-SPARKLES (Dragonfly)
-Singing (Nightingale)
-Sewing (Canary)

Why did you choose to share those skills in particular?
I thought it would be interesting, to see a bit of what it's like to be a cat. As for Whiskey…perhaps I was curious what he'd do with it.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine)
Tavros: communing with animals
Naha: shapeshifting
Ryner: a lightning spell
Whiskey: terrible drawing skills
Why do you think you received these skills in particular?
They're both skills that are part of who they are, aren't they? I wanted to experience a bit of that, those things that are a part of them. As for Whiskey…well, I had to pick something, and that seemed like the most interesting.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why?
I enjoyed using Shade's shapeshifting, but I don't think I'd use it very often if I had it ever day. Blaze's skill would be useful for hunting, though, especially if I learned to use a weapon…

JASPER
Re: JASPER
On the other hand, she does like murders . . . ♥

Blue truth with Sakuya, Eve and Mogget
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular?
It was one I didn't mind sharing with them, since they might at least use it interestingly. And they were most interested in a skill they couldn't acquire naturally, I imagine.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine)
Trap knowledge from Sakuya
Flirting from Eve
Sleeping through things from Mogget

Re: JASPER

CITRINE
Re: CITRINE

Re: CARNELIAN
Super speed - Shiny.
(just a list is fine)
Minor transmutation - Shiny.

TIGER'S EYE
Re: TIGER'S EYE
To be frank, I'm not completely sure if that's why he's cranky all the time, though. . .

HELIODOR
Re: HELIODOR
I gave Kitsunebi drawing, (normal) empathy for Thorfinn, blacksmithing for Crown.
(just a list is fine)
I got the ability to turn into a wolf from Kitsunebi.

Re: PERIDOT
Mirage - cooking
Nick - Inappropriate flirting
Beatrice - fronting
Ritsuka - motherhenning
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular?
Mirage likes cooking -- it reminds him of a sense of family -- but so far he can only cook eggs, so of the few skills I had I thought he'd like it best. Beatrice seems to sometimes falter on covering up some things, so I thought she'd like this. Ritsuka ... he likes to take care of his people, but his confidence is low, so I thought this might help support that. Ah, and for Nick, I thought it would be funny.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine)
- art skills from Mirage,
- telephone-telepathy from Nick,
- Invisibility/intagibility from Beatrice
- Brutal Honesty from Ritsuka
Why do you think you received these skills in particular?
Mirage knows I'm an artist but do not have my art skills back yet, so I think he let me get a taste of them. Nick and I discussed, and I thought I'd have fun with that -- same with Beatrice. Ah, for our own team, I think we were focused on what would give us enjoyment, largely. And Ritsuka... well... I assume he is frustrated by my inability to speak clearly or honestly most of the time.

Yuki probably wanted to show me just how cool Naoto really is especially since he doesn't look like an action star at all! He appears to be more of the romance type of guy! But I guess you can't really judge people by their looks after all...

I think I wouldn't mind keeping the Iron Kamen Rider stuff. I mean I'm pretty forgetful, but I couldn't forget a single detail of that show for some reason.

I guess the notetaking one. I mean Hail already takes all of the important notes anyway. I'm pretty sure if she ever took a look at my notes, she'd give me that judging stare of hers.

SAPPHIRE
Re: SAPPHIRE
Modern world knowledge/pop culture
- Apple
- Bubbles
Telepathy
- Sion
Iron Kamen Rider fanboying
- Toki
- Berry
Modern pop music
- Selenia
Teleportation
- Night
- Red
(just a list is fine)
Organ Playing from Selenia
Art from Berry
Poker cardshark from Red
Empathy from Sion
BLOND from Bubbles
Science!! from Toki
Snake summons from Night
Plant knowledge from Apple

IOLITE
Re: IOLITE
Team:
1. Rook - hair styling
2. Obsidian - playing the piano
3. Teresa - playing the piano
4.
5.
Off-Team:
1. Selenia - A-T basics
2. Bart - A-T advanced
3.
Team:
1. Rook - hobo
2. Obsidian - dragon
3. Teresa - blond
4.
5.
Off-Team:
1. Selenia - shield singing
2. Bart - whips
3.

AMETHYST
Night
- Cat: Lightning magic
- Roxas: Strategy
- Solstice: levitation magic
- Yuki: Snake summons
- Angie: healing magic
- Haruki: barrier magic
- Jill: speed magic
(just a list is fine)
- Cat: being a cat
- Roxas: flying
- Solstice: understanding modern references
- Yuki: teleportation
- Angie: work ethic
- Haruki: origami
- Jill: disguises

KUNZITE
Re: KUNZITE

STERLING & ONYX
Re: STERLING & ONYX

I wonder if I can bottle some of this up and take it home, get real book-liking just before I have to do a book report. Is that cheating?[ and back to English and not crossed out ]
Oh sorry. I don't even know why I'm writing this when I don't get memories anyway.
