What skills did you share, and with whom? Cooking for Flynn, Ravager for Tiger, Saboteur for Noel, and world knowledge for Lloyd.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? Flynn wanted to learn more about how to cook, and Tiger has always been really interested in my magic. Saboteur was a skill that I was always better at, so I was letting Phoenix see what something he never had was like. Lloyd wanted to know more about a futuristic world, and I've seen a lot of my world when it was already pretty advanced.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? One-handed sword from Flynn, cooking omurice from Tiger, balance from Noel, and two-handed sword from Lloyd.
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? Well, I wanted to learn more about how to use a sword, so I was cheating a bit by borrowing these skills. I like cooking, so that's what Tiger was thinking, I bet. And Phoenix didn't have a whole lot to share, but he was always good on his feet.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? It would probably be Tiger's omurice or Phoenix's balance. They aren't very big, but I'd rather learn on my own with some help than just taking someone's skill with a sword. Learning is a process, and I like it too much to go around it that much.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? Of my own, you mean? Hmm, I can't really pick one, sorry. They're all pretty important to me.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? I found out more about how I would and should use a sword. While the style Flynn and Lloyd use doesn't suit me perfectly, I really learned a lot from the two of them.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine)
I didn't share many. . . but I gave Kitsunebi and Leif the ability to read and write.
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular?
Well, I tried to pick skills I thought would be useful for my team. Erm, you see, I don't have many skills back yet at all, so you have to understand I was choosing from a very limited pool. . . but, I think I managed to reach my goal. I gave Kitsunebi and Leif the ability to read and write because I know they can't, and it must be very frustrating when a game requires someone to be literate to participate. I hope they enjoyed the skill while they had it.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine)
Leif, erm. . . well. He gave me the ability to eat a lot in return, while Kitsunebi gave me the ability to be a wolf.
Why do you think you received these skills in particular?
Well, I suppose Kitsunebi wanted me to see what it was like to be a wolf. As for Leif. . . erm. To be honest I have no idea why he gave me that skill. Maybe he thought it was funny? Or maybe he wanted me to see what it was like to be hungry all of the time. . . or maybe he was pressed for skills to share and chose one at random. I wouldn't put that past him. It was an interesting combination! Erm, I don't know if I'd describe it as a good combination, though. . .
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why?
Out of the ones given to me. . .? I'd choose Kitsunebi's, erm. N-not because I want to kill rabbits, I do think I can do without that! But seeing and smelling the world from the viewpoing of a wolf was a very eye-opening experience.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be?
W-why, I don't think I would choose a skill to lose forever. I have so few! I think I might need them all in order to be a productive member of my team. . .
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way?
. . . well! I think I mostly discovered things about my teammates. I enjoyed being able to see things from Kitsunbei's viewpoint for a change, which helped me understand his logic a bit more. T-though I have to admit, I feel awful for that poor rabbit. And I think I might understand why Leif is so cranky all of time. . . I would be cranky too if I were constantly hungry. To be frank, I'm not completely sure if that's why he's cranky all the time, though. . .
What skills did you share, and with whom? Jill (Amethyst) - Dagger throwing Mikage (Sterling) - Personal written code/cipher Mithos (Sterling) - Narnian verbal culture/history (ie poems/songs/hymns) Kazuki (Sterling) - Personal written code/cipher Josh (Tiger's Eye) - Swordsmanship
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? I gave Jill the dagger throwing because I thought she might like to try her hand at it and see how she felt about the practice in general. Mikage and Blizzard wanted to know it when I offered it, so I said all right. I wasn't sure why at first... and then I saw all the notes they left everywhere. I don't really know what else to say about it. Mithos wanted to know Narnian culture, and this was the one skill I had that definitely went on and on about it. And Josh picked out swordsmanship himself. Yes, I absolutely gave someone even more fighting skills.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? Jill (Amethyst) - Stage disguises Mikage (Sterling) - Babydragon form Mithos (Sterling) - Inventory Kazuki (Sterling) - Video games!!! Josh (Tiger's Eye) - Laser magic spark cat toy whatever it is
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? I'm not entirely sure why Jill gave this one to me, though she did have a funny smile about it. I asked Mikage and Mithos for theirs because, well, I've been a babydragon before and I could use a dose of relaxation, and I've been wondering how this inventory sort of thing I kept hearing about worked. Blizzard looked forward to me understanding video games, which I do understand now and strangely helped explain inventory to me as well. I also asked Josh for his because that thing is absolutely useful to distract the cats with.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? Inventory. It's amazing how many things you can keep in there easily without the worrying bit of where it all goes and how much strength you have to be able to carry it all. Though I still wonder where it all goes...
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? If I absolutely must choose, I would choose dagger throwing. It's a nice skill to have on hand, and I've found it very useful, but I value all the others more. Though not by much. I would rather not lose any of my skills at all. They're as much a part of me as they are useful to me.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? I didn't discover anything really new, as I knew that being around something small and rotund and fuzzy causes the urge to cuddle. So not really? What I did learn is that Cheshire still apparently can be very frightening looking.
What skills did you share, and with whom? - Mikage: vampire claws - Katou: enhanced senses - Estelle: super strength - Ruka: cooking - Ace: ability to heal self
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? I shared the claws with Mikage because he's a dragon half the time so I figured he'd enjoy the irony. We already have a lot of the same skills, but I know Mikage will always managed to find a use for things that personally amuses him. I shared enhanced senses with Katou because maybe it will help him be more aware of thing around him and actually listen once in a while. I shared super strength with Estelle because sometimes she worries she's not strong enough to protect other and I wanted to show her how physical strength won't really change her. I shared cooking with Ruka because I know he likes to do things for his team and he's always interested whenever I talk about it. I shared my ability to heal with Ace because, like Mikage, we already share the same skills and I figure this would make things easier for him if he wanted to go all out on something. Really, it wasn't a fair trade and I'm pretty sure he was doing it just because I wanted to trade.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) - Mikage: being a baby dragon - Katou: having plant angel-wings - Estelle: healing magic - Ruka: being a Diece payer - Ace: ability to make a gun out of any object
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? I received the dragon skill from Mikage the last time we did this and realize how happy it made people to see all the dragons running around and how happy it made them to play with the dragon. Not being able to talk in that form is frustrating, but I like seeing the teams smile when they see it. Mikage also loves having more like himself around and thinks it makes me less serious. I wanted Clue's wings because I know Ace loves flying and I wanted to help him experience that again. He probably offered since he also thinks I'm too serious and thought it would force me to have fun. I asked for Estelle's healing magic because I've only been able to heal myself so it's good to be able to heal others. She's seen me struggle before so she understood this when she offered. I asked for Snow's ability because I wanted to see what it would feel like to not be a vampire for a short while and better understand how people without my abilities feel in Camelot. Snow and I talk about this sometimes and he really wanted to help me. I usually don't feel cold for one thing. I asked to try Ace's ability in hopes of better understanding how easy that makes fighting in his world and how much a part of him that is.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why?
I would like to be able to heal others because I want to help them when they need it most.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be?
I'd like to lose my bloodlust more than anything because then I wouldn't be a danger to anyone and things would be easier for others.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? I discovered that Ace can enjoy cute things when he knows them. I also discovered how much Edmund loves being a baby dragon and that most people didn't really notice the difference from when I was a vampire and when I wasn't. I also found flying more useful than expected and making weapons doesn't suit me. Oh and Whiskey likes having notable abilities.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine) - Cat: Lightning magic - Roxas: Strategy - Solstice: levitation magic - Yuki: Snake summons - Angie: healing magic - Haruki: barrier magic - Jill: speed magic
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? Ahh, most of my skills are magic so I wanted to share some basic stuff with people who can't usually do it. Icicle's really into snakes and even has two as pets so I figured he'd enjoy the summons. Pepper's a nurse so healing magic is right up her alley, although I'm glad she didn't get the chance to use it. Cat just wanted try something and I know Izuchi's always flashy. Same with most of my teammates. I tried to offer things they'd be able to enjoy pretty easily. Roxas already has his own magic so I thought he could use some strategy to complement it.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) - Cat: being a cat - Roxas: flying - Solstice: understanding modern references - Yuki: teleportation - Angie: work ethic - Haruki: origami - Jill: disguises
Why do you think you received these skills in particular?
I wanted to turn into a cat because they can sleep anywhere. It worked out perfectly with Roxas' flying since a cat takes up less energy to move about. Flying is also great because I usually can only float with my spells. I really appreciated getting a chance to understand things from Sol's perspective because I never have any idea what half the people are talking about here and they're always explaining. Icicle's skill just made moving around super easy. I think Pepper gave me the work thing because she thinks I'm lazy. It ended up useful during Sakuya's meeting though and I think I gave some decent suggestions. And unfortunately, volunteered for things... I also think Haruki gave me origami because he knows I like to focus my mind sometimes. Jill gave me disguises because she likes to tease me.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why?
Probably turning into a cat because it amused people and it makes it easier to hide and nap.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be?
Ahh, I'd sure like to ditch my Alpha Stigma since it's dangerous to everyone around me.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? I discovered that Ventus loves being a baby dragon and that Haruki can be ridiculously cute. I also discovered that being petted is pretty nice and it's nice to be able to enjoy that kind of affection easily. I guess having a strong work ethic has its time and place too. Maybe. I also discovered sometimes people want these skills to understand where others are coming from. And I learned you enjoy fluffy animals.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine) Shark - eidetic memory Aoko - Talk with animals Nezumi - eidetic memory
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? For Shark, he and I share a very similar mindset, but I suspect the fact that I automatically note everything I see has a different impact on me than on other people. So, because we have such a close mindset, I shared this with him in the hopes that he would understand even better. For Mouse, it was a similar detail -- I thought it might be helpful to understand me, though this was a close toss-up with animal communication so he could talk to his mice the way I do. But if it were me, I wouldn't want to lose that after, and besides, he and his mice already communicate in their own way. For Berry, though, I gave the animal communication because I thought she'd enjoy it.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) - Blanket burrito from Shark - Mopbeatings from Aoko - Acting from Nezumi
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? I think I received the blanket burrito because it is naturally one of Shark's most valuable skills! The warmth and comfort is undeniable. I think I received the ability to beat people with a mop because Berry thoroughly understands the need to occasionally commit mild violence on the people you love so they understand your feelings, and I received Acting from Nezumi so I could finally emote scenes in a way that doesn't make him despair of life.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? Blanket burrito. Without a doubt. Do I even need to explain? It's a burrito made of blankets.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? Probably mopbeatings. In the end, even mild violence doesn't suit me most of the time.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? People really want to join you if you're in a blanket burrito. That's it, really. Some things happened before the game and I wasn't really up to interacting with all my friends.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine) Mirage - cooking Nick - Inappropriate flirting Beatrice - fronting Ritsuka - motherhenning
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? Mirage likes cooking -- it reminds him of a sense of family -- but so far he can only cook eggs, so of the few skills I had I thought he'd like it best. Beatrice seems to sometimes falter on covering up some things, so I thought she'd like this. Ritsuka ... he likes to take care of his people, but his confidence is low, so I thought this might help support that. Ah, and for Nick, I thought it would be funny.
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) - art skills from Mirage, - telephone-telepathy from Nick, - Invisibility/intagibility from Beatrice - Brutal Honesty from Ritsuka
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? Mirage knows I'm an artist but do not have my art skills back yet, so I think he let me get a taste of them. Nick and I discussed, and I thought I'd have fun with that -- same with Beatrice. Ah, for our own team, I think we were focused on what would give us enjoyment, largely. And Ritsuka... well... I assume he is frustrated by my inability to speak clearly or honestly most of the time.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? Telepathy. Then I could talk to Ritsuka whenever I wanted, even when we're in different cabins. ♥
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? Brutal honesty. I don't want it.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? For some reason, my team is dubious when I draw on the walls with tea. I assure you it's a perfectly valid medium, however.
What skills did you share, and with whom? (just a list is fine) Modern world knowledge/pop culture - Apple - Bubbles
Telepathy - Sion
Iron Kamen Rider fanboying - Toki - Berry
Modern pop music - Selenia
Teleportation - Night - Red
Why did you choose to share those skills in particular? Uhhh modern knowledge is because I'm sick of explaining modern things, and it seemed like something they would like? Apple wants to do a bunch of movie marathons now, it'll be GREAT. Selenia likes music so I gave him more music... and Night and Red would like teleporting. Who WOULDN'T like teleporting. Uhhh Toki is Naoto's teammate and I've shown Berry some kamen rider stuff before, so now they can have ALL of it. Naoto is a great actor and his show is seriously awesome! More people need to see it all!! Uh... Sion got telepathy— I trust him with it? He'll understand...
What skills were shared with you, and from whom? (just a list is fine) Organ Playing from Selenia Art from Berry Poker cardshark from Red Empathy from Sion BLOND from Bubbles Science!! from Toki Snake summons from Night Plant knowledge from Apple
Why do you think you received these skills in particular? Uhhhhh because they're fun? Or because they didn't have much else to share... Night gave me snake summons because I wanted it. Apple gave me plant knowledge because I'm studying plants... Bubbles gave her skill on accident.
If you could choose one skill to keep forever, which would it be and why? I can learn almost all of them... empathy? I already have telepathy, but feeling what my friends are feeling is nice. OR. OR THE SNAKE SUMMONS.
THOSE WERE BADASS. If I can't learn snake summoning I want snake summoning.
If you had to choose one skill to lose forever, which would it be? Texting.
Did you discover anything about yourself or your friends this way? I learned a secret from Bubbles.
(( if i get home before 8 EST with time I'll do a proper turn-in i promise ))
